Yesterday morning, it started snowing before the sun rose. It was a chilly 20 degrees F (-7c). So the funny thing is that it was sticking to the roads rather than to lawns. When it's warmer, the reverse is true.You would need a degree in physics to explain why. (My buddy Rob could explain why, I'm sure.)
By the way, just for fun, I thought I'd show you the same scene at 5:10 pm. (The top shot was taken at 7:20 am.) The snow did end up sticking. And it's still cold in Denver.
