Adding visitors, artificially (sort of)

Whenever I visit an Apple Store (not very often), I go around to a few Macs and set the home page to be this site.

If I check the number of visits the next day - wow - that figure soars. My tiny hope is that one of those visitors will see my site and want to come back, when they get home. That will probably never happen, but it's fun, anyhow.

Does your cac have some automatic feature that tracks visits? I use Siteminder, but get frustrated because I don't have a static IP address and so I can't get it to ignore my visits consistently, which considerably pads the numbers, of course. (Mostly on the days I'm really bored. Heh.)

I do *not* have a mac in this life. Perhaps in my next one. :-)

Where do you think of these things? You should make a page of "blog helps and hints".

Excellent...!! That sounds very subtle. It's good to read your blog there. I just thought i'd check it out since we only just connected to high speed internet, DRC.

Hah! I'm waiting for the day when Facebook keeps tabs on enemies. Then we could talk about an enemy/friend ratio. Me and Mugabe are probably in a dead heat behind the ABC. Maybe those sitemeters can be updated to see how many people change their homepages away from your site. ;-)
