A bit of blogging cynicism

These days, there is so much information out there that the chances of someone clicking on your url when you comment on a blog and then becoming a devotee are pretty small.

yeah. I've done it a couple of times. But many more times, I haven't. Were it not for google reader to mind the things of which I am a devotee, I would probably just stick with the ones I know.

Perhaps the definition of devotee is changing? or maybe we are devotees and more casual observers who want to keep a little linkage, "just in case" ala RSS. :)

Thanks for sharing Paul!

I have a commitment issues as it is. Keeping up on the blogs is hard work.

They may be small, but I seem to remember that you did that with me. Well, I don't know if you'd call yourself a devotee, but you read my blog!

Thanks, all, for the comments. I was just reacting to information overload. It's so much a part of my life, since my work day is about 90% spent behind the monitor.

I agree, it happens!

Hi Paul,

You took "The Words Right Out of My Mouth!" I envision a more 'nuts and bolt, cut to the quick' on blog sites. Folks don't have time to be sifting through excessive verbage to find answers!

That's my style.
