Remember - and be thankful

I was clearing out emails late this afternoon. I came across a message from October 6th - just over three months ago. I noted that the cheapest gas outlet in my neighborhood had a gallon for $3.43.

Today, the same place is selling for about $1.50. Though it has gone up some lately, we have much to be thankful for, at least when it comes to filling our tanks!

Just a little reminder for your weekend...

4 months ago right after hurricane Ike hit Texas, gas spiked here in Mena at 3.99 at the cheapest station. It was as low as 1.41 but has now raised to 1.76

You're right - we can't complain, Richard!

Have a great weekend.

Good for some, bad for others, though fluctuation in price is the main concern, I've heard.

How much value do we put on our gas (petrol)? Thought this take on it was interesting (if darkly funny);

I paid 1.87 last night. I am happy I only put gas in my car about once a month or so. And even though the gas price has gone down, still no one can afford to go anywhere!
