I didn't have the patience or time to watch more than about 5 seconds of the video - but my main comment is that humans still have a long way to go in the creation game. (However, the fake fly doesn't spread disease - advantage.)

I like the robotic fly!!
And actually, the video is cool for about 3 seconds. It breaks into a Pink Floyd song as it demonstrates the fly's capabilities. LOL.
And, to answer Marti's question, there is a need for robotic insects. They will provide yet another way for Big Brother to watch over us. Just watch X-Files. You'll see... :0
